The regional products and seafood are prepared with respect for the seasonal availability and flavours. Le Cheval Blanc

There's loads going on this year at Le Cheval Blanc this year, all based around our love of fabulous vegan and vegetarian food.

We've launched our cooking school in our newly rebuilt kitchen and we're already sharing our passion for food with customers. We'll be running a series of residential cookery courses this season and for those who live locally, day workshops mostly in winter. There are dates on the web site and we're regularly adding more. We can do residential chef training too, but that's mostly in winter when the tourists have gone home!

Our business started back in 2015 with B&B. We aim to make our stunning town and region accessible to vegans and vegetarians by giving them a fabulous place to stay with meals available, but also with encyclopaedic knowledge of local sights and more importantly, vegan and veggie friendly eateries and activities. If you're struggling with French we can book tables for you.

Most of our guests stay with us to sample Natalie's cooking. If you've stayed with us before you'll know how amazing she is, but this winter she's been busy getting inspired in the kitchen and has come up with loads of new ideas you can try this year.

Much to our surprise we're getting enquiries for wedding catering. We've never advertised it but somehow people track us down. If you're thinking of getting married in the area, let's talk.

Le Cheval Blanc has always been about bespoke experiences, so if you like the sound of what we're up to but our dates don't work for you, or maybe you're after something a bit different, we're always happy to talk.

Damien LAMY - cuisine à domicile

Have a private chef cook for you without leaving the confort of your gîte. Damien is a French chef with experience and uses local, seasonal and organic products, combining flavors, colors and textures. The chef takes care of everything. He creates a special menu according to your desires, buys the best ingredients, cooks at your own place, serves you at the table, cleans before he leaves.

You can choose from two types of menus:

• The « Bistrot » menu. Made up of classics of French bistrot cuisine (entrée/plat/dessert from 25€/pers)
• The « Gastronomique » menu. An elaborate and sophisticated menu, in the tradition of fine dining gastronomy. (entrée/plat/dessert from 40€/pers)
